Helping Hands in Hard Times
Providing Household Support
Southall Community Alliance has been working very closely with local schools to provide household support in the form of food deliveries as well as direct cash transfer to the vulnerable residents of Southall. The current cost of living crisis, with spiralling prices, has caused great distress to many of Ealing’s most vulnerable households.
One of the ways in which the Southall Community Alliance are responding in Southall is to use funding provided by Ealing Council’s Household Support Grant to purchase and distribute food to those very households facing hardship with the help of local schools.
